As announced in the recent June edition of MNM, CETIAT has become the latest new member of IFRF through its French Flame Research Committee (Comité Français).  In discussion with Sébastien Caillat, Vice President of IFRF, Virginie Grousset, Communication Director Générale at CETIAT provided some background on the company:

CETIAT is a public-interest organisation, founded in 1960 in response to demand from firms in the Heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) and air handling sectors.

The technical centre is active at both the French and international level, providing a link between industry and research. As an expert in R&D, testing, calibration and training, CETIAT offers industrial firms from all sectors access to resources and skills to help improve the design, development and manufacture of their products and processes, and to evaluate and improve their performance.

CETIAT’s mission is to ‘support industrial innovation at all levels, from design to the development of processes and products’.
