In April 2024 the IFRF will host a week-long hydrogen short course in Sheffield, UK. The course offers attendees an exciting deep-dive into the world of hydrogen for industrial decarbonisation.

Date: 29th April – 2nd May
Location: Sheffield, UK

Covering everything from the fundamentals of hydrogen, to the policy and legal regulations surrounding its use, and including several sessions of hands-on practical experience with cutting-edge pilot scale hydrogen combustion rigs (process furnace and gas turbine), this short course will equip attendees with vital knowledge for working in the field of hydrogen.

As well as the course itself, which includes a full day of practical experience at the Translational Energy Research Centre, securing your place gives you access to an evening dinner with a keynote speaker. Speakers will include representatives from government and industry, expert academics and health and safety experts.

The course is recognised as an accredited CPD (Continued Professional Development) activity, ensuring the professional standard of training and the qualification are maintained. So please keep your eyes peeled for more information on this course, including fees and a detailed agenda, in the coming weeks.
