As part of our year long 70th anniversary celebrations, we have been receiving some special messages from around the world.

This week we are delighted to share with you a message from the current Lord Mayor of Sheffield Magid Magid.

“IFRF’s roots are deeply associated with Sheffield – specifically with the University of Sheffield – when Professor Meredith Thring first proposed the collaboration that led to IFRF in 1948. Now that IFRF has returned to Sheffield, I, the Lord Mayor of Sheffield, would like to congratulate IFRF on its 70 year history and wish them all the very best for the future.”
