New York-based company Clean Coal Technologies has announced it has begun assembly of a new test facility, to be located at Fort Union, Wyoming, USA. Clean Coal Technologies successfully tested its technology to create “stable, dust-free” coal at a test facility in Oklahoma, and is moving to be close to the University of Wyoming’s School of Energy Research. The two organisations have been collaborating since 2017, and the School has helped Clean Coal Technologies refine its testing designs for the Fort Union facility. The company is currently preparing to demonstrate its coal dehydration and by-product extraction technology, which it says it believes represents “first-of-a-kind, game-changing advancements” that will “reverberate throughout the entire global coal industry.”
