BF2RA (The Biomass and Fossil Fuel Research Alliance) operates a programme to support research in the UK into the clean and efficient use of biomass and fossil fuels, to build capacity in this area.

Proposals are invited for specific research relating to the following:
1. Energy Transition
2. Plant Flexibility including materials challenges and approaches for condition based assessments
3. Biomass including Energy Integration/Storage and CC(U)S

BF2RA is offering funding of approx. £25-40k per successful application to support PhD/EngD research. The deadline for submission is 28 February 2020. Full details can be found here.
