Summary
He started his professional carrier as a Junior Scientist at the German Aerospace Center (DLR) in Cologne (Germany), Institute of Propulsion Technology, Department of Aero-Thermodynamics and Combustion.
Afterwards he was working for several years as a Senior Scientist, leading the Project Group „Lean Premixed Combustion at the Paul Scherrer Institute (PSI) in Villigen (Switzerland) at the Combustion Research Laboratory of the Energy Department.
In 2007 he joined the German Aerospace Center (DLR) in Stuttgart (Germany), Institute of Combustion Technology leading the High-pressure Experiments Group.
Research activities - Combustion in gas turbines (propulsion & power generation), high-pressure turbulent lean premixed flames, autoignition.
