  • Following on from the successful first IFRF Industrial Combustion Course held in March 2025 at the Air Liquide Innovation Campus in Paris, the next Industrial Combustion Course will take place in Autumn 2026 at ENGIE’s CRIGEN Research Centre in Paris, France.

What’s new this time? The course will provide a dedicated focus on combustion modelling and simulation, alongside core fundamentals and practical insights. Through case studies, you will explore modelling approaches, from zero-dimensional models to advanced techniques, revealing why larger tools are not always better.

    Hands-on experience:

    •       Laboratory experiments demonstrating the transition from hydrogen to natural gas, with advanced diagnostics
    •       A full-scale trial on CRIGEN’s industrial test furnace, offering real-world insights into combustion challenges

     Why attend?

    •       Gain expertise in combustion modelling of real-world processes
    •       Discover strategies for integrating low-carbon fuels
    •       Connect with leading experts from industry and academia

     Who should join?

Engineers, researchers, and technical managers in combustion, energy systems, and process optimisation.

Seats are limited, so please stay tuned for dates and registration details which will be provided via the IFRF website and our Linkedin Group page!
