Following-on from our successful IFRF/Comité Français (CF) Topic Oriented Technical Meeting (TOTeM47) on ‘Additive Manufacturing for Combustion Application’ in Paris back on 5 February, and the key ‘take-home messages’ from it, MNM readers may be interested to read an interesting publication by DNV GL considers how external certification is critical to securing industry acceptance of 3D-printed components in these sectors.  It also addresses how the IP of printed components can be protected.

While his well-written piece is intended for practitioners within those sectors, the messages are equally relevant to the sectors utilising combustion processes…  worth a read!
