      Professor Pourkashanian is the General Secretary of the International Flame Research Foundation (IFRF), Head of Energy-2050 at the University of Sheffield, and is the Executive Director of PACT pilot-scale UK national facilities.

      Colin is currently the Director of the EngD Centre in Efficient Power from Fossil Energy and Carbon Capture Technologies, Director of Midlands Energy Graduate School and the Head of Group for the Cleaner Fossil Energy and Carbon Capture Technologies (CFE&CCT) Research Group.

    • Jörg Leicher

      GWI-ESSEN, GERMANY

      Jörg studied Mechanical Engineering at the Ruhr University Bochum, Germany, and was awarded a Ph.D. Since 2009, he has been working in the Department of Industrial Combustion Technology of Gas- und Wärme-Institut Essen e. V. (GWI) where he leads the Numerical Simulations Group.

      Since 2014, Sébastien has been Combustion Engineer at Fives Stein and has an M.Res. in Aerothermochemistery and a Ph.D in Combustion from CORIA lab, Rouen University in Normandy, France. Since 2013 Sebastien has been the Chairman of French Flame (CF).

      Philip is the part-time Director of IFRF in the new phase of its activity based in the UK.  He is currently an Honorary Professor of the University of Nottingham and a Visiting Professor at the University of Sheffield.
