      Dr Kumar Patchigolla is a Senior Lecturer in Low Carbon Energy Systems, with in the Energy and Power theme. He is also the H&S co-ordinator for the Energy and Power theme and completed the National Examination Board for Occupational Safety and Health (NEBOSH) general certification in 2012.

      Dr Karen N Finney is a chartered engineer and a research fellow at Energy2050 within the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Sheffield. Her research expertise is in low-carbon and sustainable energy generation, focussing conventional power, bioenergy and carbon capture.

    • Professor Yong Yan

      University of Kent, UK

      Yong Yan joined the University of Kent in 2004 as a Professor of Electronic Instrumentation and the Head of Instrumentation and Control. He has been Director of Research of the School of Engineering and Digital Arts since 2008. He has published more than 170 papers in peer reviewed journals.

    • Professor Hao Zhou

      Zhejiang University, China

      Zhou Hao obtained his bachelor’s, master’s and doctor’s degrees at the Department of Electrical Engineering in Zhejiang University in 1983, 1989 and 2004 respectively. He has been teaching at the Department of Electrical Engineering in Zhejiang University since 1983, where he was promoted as a professor in 2007, and was approved as a doctoral supervisor in 2008.
