Author Jeffrey Rissman recently appeared on the Columbia Energy Exchange podcast to discuss his new book Zero-Carbon Industry: Transformative Technologies and Policies to Achieve Sustainable Prosperity.

The book explores the main pathways for reducing greenhouse gas emissions from manufacturing materials including iron, steel, chemicals, cement, and concrete.

It also looks at how policy can support decarbonisation, and lays out a roadmap for eliminating emissions between 2050 and 2070.
