  • Glass Futures Ltd and PeroCycle Ltd have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to evaluate a strategic collaboration.

PeroCycle Ltd develops novel catalyst technologies and specialised processing systems designed to decarbonise hard-to-abate industrial operations. The collaboration will enable the establishment of a scaling platform to improve catalyst and reactor performance in real-world operational environments following initial laboratory validation.

The work is to be carried out at Glass Futures’ pilot and testing facilities in St Helens. Operational workstreams under evaluation include batch manufacturing of PeroCycle’s proprietary catalyst, prototype testing, and full integration of a pilot module unit with active glass, ceramic, or combustion testing systems.

Justin Kelly, Glass Futures CEO, said: “This partnership demonstrates how Glass Futures helps innovative companies move from laboratory success to industrial-scale deployment. PeroCycle’s technology is ready for the next stage of development, and our unique facilities, technical expertise and pilot-scale infrastructure can help accelerate that journey. By supporting the demonstration of technologies that convert waste streams into usable fuels, we’re helping drive decarbonisation not only in glass, but across a range of energy-intensive materials sectors.”
