Aston University (ASTON)

The Aston University Bioenergy research facilities cover all steps in a fast pyrolysis based bioenergy and biofuel value chain from characterisation and analysis of biomass through preparation and pretreatment, fast pyrolysis, product analysis and characterisation; upgrading of fast pyrolysis vapours and liquids, and production of raw biofuels.

Hydrothermal processing and product analysis and characterisation is included as well as syngas processing to hydrocarbons and alcohols.
