      Allan Runstedtler

      Allan Runstedtler is Research Scientist and Modeling Group Leader at CanmetENERGY-Ottawa, a division of the Federal Government, Natural Resources Canada. He has 20 years’ experience modelling and designing energy systems. He has managed numerous R&D and consulting projects and has published in the field of industrial process heaters, iron making, oil transmission pipelines, biomass boilers for electric power, and oxy-fuel power utility boilers for CO2 capture. He has published fundamental studies in the areas of fluid dynamics, radiation heat transfer, diffusion in micro/nanoscale pores, and dark matter.

CanmetENERGY leads the development of energy S&T solutions for the environmental and economic benefit of Canadians.
