TOTeM34 – “Gas Turbine Research: Fuels, Combustion, Heat Transfer and Emissions” has been rearranged for 20 and 21 October.  The new programme can be downloaded from the IFRF Events Calendar along with the registration form.

The organisers thank all those involved for their flexibility and cooperation as a result of which they have been able to reproduce the April programme with very little modification.  The original meeting was postponed due to the widespread disruption of air travel at the time.

The venue for the meeting remains the Gas Turbine Research Centre at Port Talbot Wales, UK.  Also as originally planned, co-Chairs are Professor Allen Jones, Managing Director of E.ON Engineering, Gelsenkirchen, Germany and Nottingham, UK and Cath Goy, Team Leader, Combustion Technology with E.ON Engineering UK, Ratcliffe on Soar, UK.

The new programme is included in the TOTeM 34 general brochure which is available on the IFRF Events Calendar along with a downloadable registration form.  This documentation is also available for download from the GTRC website at http://www.cu-gtrc.eu.   Further details will shortly be made available concerning the reorganised Poster Session.

The TOTeM organisers are presently taking up contact with those who registered originally.  Anyone who did not register but will now be in a position to participate, should download the brochure and the registration form and join us in October.

As has been previously announced in MNM, the EFRI Technical Meeting which was postponed with TOTeM 34 now takes place on Tuesday 19th October at the same venue.  The meeting’s title is “Challenges in the Design and Operation of High Pressure Combustion Test Rigs”.
