The aim of this TOTeM is to develop the background to the topic of oxy-fuel combustion for CO2 control.  In keeping with the organization of such meetings, the first day will feature invited talks and poster sessions and will be followed by a full morning workshop in which delegates will have the opportunity to discuss the needs, opportunities and challenges for further development.

Specifically the talks and posters will highlight recent advances and ongoing projects in oxy-combustion technologies, along with their possible applications to power generation and a wide range of other industries.  Building on the momentum created on the first day, the workshop will provide a forum to discuss the state of the technologies and their relevance to future energy and industrial scenarios, and also to identify the needs for further research and development.

TOTeM 31 is open to all members of the combustion community.  A first announcement with a call for abstracts and the relevant deadlines, and a draft agenda are now available on the IFRF Events Calendar at http://www.calendar.ifrf.net/event.html?id=297
