The 2011 edition of the triannual Swedish-Finnish Flame Days was organised on January 26-27, 2011 in Piteå, Sweden  by the IFRF National Committees of Finland and Sweden together with the Scandinavian-Nordic Section of the Combustion Institute.

The event drew some 60 participants from universities, research institutes and companies in Sweden, Finland and Denmark.  The program included three keynote lectures from invited speakers, who were Lars-Erik Åmand (Chalmers University of Technology), Maria Anheden (Vattenfall) and Rikard Gebart (Luleå University of Technology).  The keynote papers, along with over 30 presentations given over the two days and describing ongoing energy research and research plans in Finland and Scandinavia, may be downloaded here.
