TOTeM34, originally planned for 22nd and 23rd April 2010, was postponed due to the volcanic ash cloud which disrupted air traffic to and from the UK in the week of the meeting. Cardiff University, who are hosting the TOTeM, have have announced that the delayed TOTeM34 will be held on Wednesday 20th October and Thursday 21st October 2010, respectively at Cardiff University and the Gas Turbine Research Centre, near Port Talbot.  The postponement has allowed the Organising Committee to enhance the programme. Additional topics to be covered will include amongst others  the effect of volcanic ash and an introduction to planned EU natural gas quality changes (see this issue of MNM) on aircraft and stationary gas turbine combustors respectively.   Further details will be published in the near future in the IFRF Events Calendar and the Cardiff University websites. These will also be announced in a future Monday Night Mail.

The associated EFRI meeting on High Pressure Combustion Research Rigs will also take place in Port Talbot in the same week.
