The American Flame Research Foundation cordially invites you to hear from representatives of industrial companies, research organizations, universities, and others engaged in research, development, and commercialization of technology for improvements in fired equipment design.
Learn more about the current state and future potential for fired equipment design, from revamps of existing furnaces and heaters to new innovations in fired equipment technology.
Participate in sessions about
– burner designs and configurations used to solve operational problems
– numerical simulations used to troubleshoot or to create new furnace designs
– measurement and data acquisition techniques
– emission control
– methods and models for predicting radiant and convective heat transfer
Check out the symposium’s presentation abstracts on https://www.htri.net/AFRC/afrcabstr.htm.
Also attend a free half-day workshop with Xfh(r), software for evaluating designs and simulating fired heaters.
The event is scheduled for October 16 – 18, 2006 at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel and Convention Center. Reserve your room at the Woodlands Waterway Marriott by September 14, 2006, and submit your conference registration by September 15, 2006.
