A PhD position is open in collaboration between CentraleSupélec and Mines-Albi in France.

The focus of the PhD is on the impact of a textural heterogeneity on the chemical/biological reactivity of a particle fixed bed. The aim is to investigate – by experimental approaches and essentially by modeling – how far a local heterogeneity in a fixed bed of particles can lead to increased self-heating and potentially ignition.
