IFRF announces TOTeM 41 “Optimisation of OXY/COAL/FGR systems – state of the art for scaling and modelling”.  The event takes place in Warsaw on 10th and 11th June and is the second public showcasing of the FP7 EU funded project – “RELCOM: Reliable and Efficient Combustion of Oxygen/Coal/Recycled Flue Gas Mixtures”.

Like TOTeM 39 – “Oxy-Coal: The Whys and the Hows” which took place in Pisa in June 2013, TOTeM 41 represents an opportunity for project members of RELCOM to disseminate their findings outside of the partner consortium.  As an added bonus, delegates to the meeting will also receive input from participants in the project “Oxy-combustion technology for PC and FBC boilers with CO2 capture”, financed with a 25 million dollar grant from the National Center for Research & Development in Poland as part of the Advanced Technologies for Energy Generation programme.

TOTeM 41 will be chaired by Prof. Wojciech Nowak of Czestochowa University of Technology and will articulate around clear thematic areas, each introduced by an expert keynote speaker.  Alongside other invited speakers, the one and a half day meeting will also accommodate presentations from delegates who have contributed posters.

Poster abstracts are invited and registration for the event will open shortly.  All the necessary information appears in the First Announcement and Call for Poster Abstracts on the IFRF Events Calendar.
