TOTeM 39-Oxy-coal Combustion is being organized for the EC co-funded RELCOM Project on June 18th and 19th in Pisa.

The First Announcement and Preliminary Programme are available for view.  Keynote speakers at the two day event include Lars Strömberg of Chalmers University, Sweden who will also chair the proceedings, and Stanley Santos, IEA GHG. Göran Lindgren of Vattenfall will provide a user’s viewpoint on oxy-coal burners.

Also featuring alongside speakers from organisations participating in RELCOM are Phil Smith of the University of Utah (Flame stabilisation), Flemming Frandsen of DTU (Ash and heavy metals), and Klas Andersson, Chalmers University (Radiation modelling).

Particularly for delegates outside of RELCOM, TOTeM 39 presents a unique opportunity to know more about the current situation of the Oxy-coal route to CCS. Insight will also be provided into the RTD and demonstration activities ongoing within the project.
