• One-Day Training Course On Burner Technology and Selection

The BIFCA (British Industrial Furnace Constructors Association) is organizing a training course. The title of the course will be: “1-DAY TRAINING COURSE ON BURNER TECHNOLOGY & SELECTION“.

This one-day training course will give attendees an introduction to the principles of combustion technology applied to gaseous and liquid fuels, covering a wide range of industrial applications but with a the main focus on high temperature processes. The course will also look at developments in minimising emissions whilst maintaining plant efficiency, including practical examples and an interactive question and answer session.

The course will be held on Wednesday 8th March 2006, starting at 10.30 am and finishing by 3.30 pm. The venue will be the UK National MetalForming Centre, West Bromwich, West Midlands.

The presenters are David Smith (Managing Director) & Trevor Walton (Industrial Sales Manager) from NA Stordy Combustion Ltd and Jeff Rhine of RhinEnergY Consultants.

The course will be of interest to:- process and plant managers and supervisors, energy and environmental managers, equipment suppliers, and sales, project and design engineers.

The delegate fee is £199.00 plus VAT which includes copies of the presentations and refreshments.
