TOTeM 32 – Registrations close soon!


Entitled “Overcoming ash related restrictions on effective solid fuel utilisation” TOTeM 32 will be offered in Freising, Germany on December 15th and 16th and will be combined with the 15th Conference of the German Flame Committee.


The goal of the conference is to discuss the impact of ash related problems on design and operation of solid fuel fired boilers including biomass, waste, brown and hard coal, to present state of the art solutions and to identify future strategies.


Registration is open until 7th November 2008!



 


TOTeM 33 – Final programme available


A further Announcement, with an updated programme, has been released on the IFRF Events Calendar for TOTeM 33 “Challenges in Rotary Kiln Combustion Processes” which takes place in Pisa next February.


 


New on the Events Calendar


New events announced this week include  the Ciba Expert Services’ seminar in Rome in December entitled From Waste to Energy: Innovative techniques for generating energy and reducing CO2 emissions.  The seminar will be conducted in English and is aimed at energy managers who wish to explore new ideas for alternative sources, CO2 emission reduction, sustainable production, emission alowances and renewable energy credits.


ECEMEI-5, the 5TH EUROPEAN CONFERENCE ON ECONOMICS AND MANAGEMENT OF ENERGY IN INDUSTRY which will be held in Portugal between 14-17 April 2009, will review the major developments in energy supply and demand.  Abstracts are invited.


July sees CLEAN AIR 2009, the Tenth Conference on Energy for a Clean Environment in Lisbon, Portugal.  This year Profs  Roman Weber and Leonardo Tognotti will contribute to the organisation.
