Following from the promotion of Arjan van den Hoogen with in Corus (See MNM Week 13) and his consequent resignation from the Chair of NVV – Netherlands Flame Research Committee – and the IFRF Joint Committee, we have learned that Jochem Groot, who succeeds Arjan as Department Manager Rolling Metal Strip at IJmuiden, has been unanimously elected as Chairman NVV and the NVV representative on the IFRF Joint Committee.  We look forward to congratulating personally.
