Today we welcome Dr. Raymond Tan to IJmuiden – he has joined the International Technical and Scientific Team.

Raymond Tan

Raymond Tan is an Associate Professor of De La Salle University, Manila, Philippines where he holds the position of Vice Chairman of the Chemical Engineering Department. His primary expertise includes Life Cycle Analysis, Engineering Economy, and Statistical Analysis and Experimental Design.

He will stay with us for three months during which time he will contribute to the development of an IFRF programme concept on oxy-coal-recycled flue gas combustion, following on from the recommendations made at the 14th Members Conference.

Raymond Tan was recognised by the Philippine National Academy of Science and Technology as one of the Outstanding Young Scientists (2004). This award is recognised by the Philippine National Government as a National Award and was sponsored by Dupont Philippines.
