• New Visiting Investigators at IFRF

Today we have been joined by two new Visiting Investigators – Ms Connie Ellul and Mr Jonas Brobäck. They will be working jointly at the Research Station and the Communications Centre though to the end of the summer 2004.

Connie Ellul

Connie Ellul

Connie is a graduate of the University of Malta (BSc) and the University of Leeds (MSc).  She is an Engineer with the Maltese energy company – The Enemalta Corporation.  She has been recently accepted to prepare a PhD thesis at the University of Malta and applied to the IFRF to cooperate within the High Efficiency Research programme.  She has received leave of absence to pursue her PhD studies for a period at IJmuiden

Jonas Brobäck

Jonas Brobäck is currently undertaking his Master -Doctoral programme  at the Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm. His Master thesis is on the Investigation of Scale Formation in High Temperature Furnaces. He is continuing to prepare a PhD thesis with similar topics.  He also applied to co-operate with the IFRF within the High Efficiency Research programme.

Connie and Jonas have both joined the IFRF High Efficiency Combustion and completed their introductions today.

Connie and Jonas are both extremely welcome at the IFRF and within the expanding HEC project team.
