IFRF will present a Topic Orientated Technical Meeting on June 2 and 3 at Sheffield University in the UK.

The 43rd IFRF TOTeM will take as its topic  the safe design and operation of combustion equipment in the oil and gas industry. Tom Gilmartin (BP) and Jacques Dugué (Total) are the organisers of the technical program.

TOTeM 43 will aim at defining existing and best practices on instrumentation, control and safety functions in the various types of combustion equipment used in the process industry and will review particular aspects of refinery heaters, petrochemical cracking furnaces, steam methane reformer furnaces, and sulphur reaction furnaces.
