Dr. Tomasz Klajny joined the IFRF on 1 March as Operations Manager and has been warmly accepted into the team at Livorno.

Tomasz has a PhD in Engineering from Czestochowa University of Technology, Poland, and comes to us from Ceres Power, a world leading AIM-quoted alternative energy company developing fuel cell technology and based in the UK.  Previously, Tomasz spent four years as Senior Engineer with IFRF Member Organisation Doosan Babcock in Renfrew, Scotland where he worked on the design of new coal burners and flameless combustion systems.  The work for Tomasz’s PhD was undertaken at IFRF Member Organisation Foster-Wheeler Oy, Varkaus, Finland.

Tomasz recently completed an MBA at the University of Strathclyde, Scotland and he expects this degree to be awarded during 2013.   His resume has a very international flavour and includes Master’s degree studies in Grenoble, France and a first degree at University College Cork in Ireland.

The IFRF Executive Committee have all had the opportunity to meet and interact with Tomasz during the recruitment process and are delighted to recommend him to the IFRF Membership. The IFRF website will be updated with a photo and contact details as soon as possible.  In the mean time, Welcome Tomasz!
