We are pleased to announce that in 2018 we will be hosting a conference to celebrate 70 years of IFRF.

The IFRF 2018 Conference will take place on 30-31 May 2018 in Sheffield,UK. This two-day event will look back at the achievements of IFRF over the last 70 years and use this as a platform to showcase future work.

The conference will be held at Sheffield Town Hall which is an impressive Grade 1 listed Victorian building built in 1897 and is located right in the heart of the city.

We will be inviting papers to be submitted for the conference. If you are interested in submitting a paper please register your interest here and we will notify you once the call for papers is announced.

All papers presented at the IFRF 2018 Conference will form part of a special anniversary edition of the Industrial Combustion Journal.

Delegates will be invited to attend a special dinner as part of our 70th anniversary celebrations. The dinner will be held at Magna – a disused steel mill in Rotherham which is now an education centre showcasing the history of steelmaking.

The conference will be open to all with discounts offered to our members. More information will be available shortly but in the meantime please click here to sign up to our event mailing list and learn of new developments first. Or you can follow @IFRFOffice or #IFRF2018 on Twitter.
