This week sees the publication of the last three combustion files describing regional sources of coals. Our thanks to author John Smart for preparing this cluster. The new files deal with coal resources in Africa and the Middle East, the Former Soviet Union and the Asia-Pacific Region.

CF194: What are the principal geographical sources of coal in Africa and the Middle East? – Members’ Domain

CF195: What are the principal geographical sources of coal in the Former Soviet Union? – Members’ Domain

CF196: What are the principal geographical sources of coal in the Asia-Pacific Region? – Members’ Domain

To inspect the files, please go to www.handbook.ifrf.net and after accepting the disclaimer, select ‘New Combustion Files’ on the left hand menu. Although these files are in the IFRF ‘Members Domain’, non-members wishing to know more about the topic or the handbook in general will find links to several ‘Open Domain’ files within the ‘New Combustion Files’ listings. Further related files can be found by searching the handbook with the keyword ‘coal’.
