This week, three new Combustion Files are published in the IFRF Combustion Handbook. All three deal with ash formation and determination. They were prepared by  Flemming Frandsen of the Research Centre for Combustion and Harmful Emission Control (CHEC) of the Danish Technical University.

The Files are listed below:

CF38: What is coal ash? – Open Domain
CF39: What factors affect coal ash formation? – Members’ Domain
CF77: How do I analyse coal ash chemistry? – Members’ Domain

To read the new Combustion Files, go to www.handbook.ifrf.net and select ‘New Combustion Files’ from the left hand frame. You will need your IFRF ID and Password to read the content of the ‘Members Domain’ Files.
