The Academy of Finland and Tekes, Finnish Funding Agency for Technology and Innovation launched a new programme: The Finland Distinguished Professor Programme (FiDiPro), funding the recruit of foreign professor-level top researchers to Finland for a fixed period of time.
The Systems Engineering Laboratory, at the University of Oulu, would like to open such a guest professor position. The activity in this laboratory focus on power plant control/automation.

The application schedule is the following:

27 December, 2006 – announcing the programme
17 January, 2007 – announcing a possible candidate to the University of Oulu
08 February, 2007 – submitting the draft version of application to University of Oulu
22 February, 2007 – submitting the final version of application.
