The EFRI Technical Meetings focus on test rigs and their operation, and not on research results.  This 2nd in the series is entitled Challenges in the Design and Operation of High Pressure Combustion Test Rigs and is organised by the IFRF and Cardiff University.  The venue is the Margam Room, Gas Turbine Research Centre (GRTC), Port Talbot, U.K. and the date is Tuesday 19 October.

Discussion points include:

• Presentations of their HP combustion rigs by rig owners present
• Design and Operation of High Pressure Combustion Test Rigs (Introduction by GRTC)
• Pressure scaling (how to design tests/use data at one pressure to cover operation at different pressures)
• Diagnostic techniques – both non-intrusive and intrusive
