At the turn of the New Year, we received approval by the European Commission for the Final Technical Report for the BioFlam Project. We are finalising the administration of the project, following which we aim to publish a series of reports based on data generated during the project.
BioFlam is concerned with characterisation of a range of Fossil Replacement Fuels for co-firing with pulverised coal in power generation plant.
This fits well with the development of a data base for Fossil Replacement Fuels combustion and emissions being developed for the IFRF Power Generation Industrial Sector, presently being developed within the PowerFlam2 programme. This week we are holding a programme review meeting for PF2 at the premises of Laborelec at Linkebeek Belgium.
