The British Flame is organising a 1-day meeting entitled Combustion Diagnostics: The RouteMap to Increased Efficiency, Lower Emissions and Improved Product Quality, it will take place in Rotherham on the 22nd November 2006.


This 1-day meeting will consider the latest Combustion Diagnostics technologies that are being used in a wide range of industries (from steel product manufacture to power generation), with the common goal of increasing efficiency, reducing emissions and improving product quality.
The scene will be set by presentations from Corus & E.ON UK as well as the International Flame Research Foundation. Leading UK instrument and system providers (Casella Eti, Perceptive Engineering Ltd, DANTEC and Ametek Land) and research groups (Universities of Glamorgan, Leeds, Sheffield & Warwick) will then describe new and novel applications. Alongside the presentations there will be a poster session and an exhibition where delegates can discuss their specific requirements with instrument & system suppliers.


This 1-day meeting is being held at the Swinden House Conference Centre situated at the Corus Swinden Technology Centre, Rotherham, South Yorkshire. There will be no charge to attend the BRITISH FLAME meeting, but we do ask you to complete the registration form below and return it to: Prof A.J.
