A DVD has been produced for sale containing the 52 presentations made at the AFRC Pacific Rim Combustion Symposium which took place in Maui between September 26th through 29th.    Sessions were on Industrial Flares, Combustion Hardware, Refinery Process Heaters, Solid Fuel, Diagnostics & Monitoring and CFD/Simulation.  Each presentation is provided in pdf format.

The papers selected for the meeting were contributed from twelve different countries.  Several papers had authors from multiple countries. They covered a broad spectrum of interests on industrial combustion, energy utilization and related topics in furnaces, boilers, and flares.  Conference Chairman was IFRF President Richard T. Waibel, PhD, John Zink Co., LLC.

There were 74 attendees from Asia (Japan 5, China 4 and 1 S. Korean), Europe (France 3, UK 3, Finland 2, Italy 1), Canada 4 and rest from USA. There were 52 presentations.

The meeting had a delightful social  program.  Many attendees brought their families.  In addition to a reception on Sunday evening Sept. 26th, there was a spectacular Luau on Monday evening Sept. 27th.
