The American Flame Research Committee has announced their 2013 Symposium which takes place at the Sheraton Kauai, Hawaii from September 22 to 25 2013.  The meeting is entitled Safe and responsible development in the 21st Century and a Call for papers is open.

The Call, which can be downloaded from the above link to the IFRF Events Calendar, includes a comprehensive but not exhaustive list of topics supplied by the AFRC 2013 Organising Committee.  Abstracts are warmly invited and should be received by 15 February 2013.  Early submissions are strongly encouraged!

The meeting is open to both members and non-members of AFRC.

The 2013 Symposium will be sponsored by John Zink – Hamworthy with support from Great Southern Group, Sage Environmental Consulting, University of Utah Institute for Clean and Secure Energy, Callidus, OnQuest, Zeeco and the Energy Research and Development Center at Missouri S&T.
