A Sustainable Energy Supply for Industry
A Challenge for the IFRF

11th – 14th May, 2004
NH Leeuwenhorst Conference Centre
Noordwijkerhout, The Netherlands

The development of the programme is now in an advanced stage.  As with all recent conferences, we have been receiving many late proposals for podium presentations – which of course we welcome! These have been reviewed by the IFRF Monitoring Council and we are reaching the final states of fixing the programme. Details will will be presented shortly.

Part of this task is to join the presentation categories to the invited Keynote Presentations.  This progressing well.  Three important subjects are:

  • “Challenges in a Carbon-Constrained Environment” which will be led by Professor Adel Sarofim (University of Utah and Reaction Engineering International, USA) –
  • “CO2 Mitigation – a Challenge to the Power Generation Industry” which will be led by Professor Lasse Strömberg (Vattenfall, Sweden)
  • “European Combustion Research – Present and Future” which will be led Professor Klaus Hein (University of Stuttgart – IVD, Germany)
  • “Flameless Combustion and its Applications” which will be led by Dr Joachim Wünning (WS Inc., USA)

Further information will be given next week – meanwhile do not forget that we are still accepting Poster Session and Mini Exhibition Proposals this week. Proposals may be submitted by downloading the PDF Registration Form and faxing the completed form to IFRF NET.
