Thank you to all who attended the Comité Français (CF) General Meeting last week at the Fives European Combustion Centre in Piacenza, Italy.

There were four presentations during the morning:

  • ‘Présentation des activités du Fives European Combustion Centre’ by Fouad Saïd, Fives Pillard
  • ‘Transposition de la directive MCP (medium combustion plant) en droit français, impact sur les installations de combustion existantes et neuves’ by Didier Thibault, GRTgaz and Pascal Lebois, GRDF
  • ‘L’oxycombustion: vers une diminution de la consommation énergétique et des polluants’ by Sarah Juma, Chloé Caumont-Prim, and Niomar Marcano, Air Liquide
  • ‘POC of Digital Twin. Application to an industrial gas-hydrogen burner’ by Nicolas Meynet and Guy-AlexandreGrandin, ENGIE

In the afternoon, delegates were given a guided tour of the new Fives European Combustion Centre.
