Air Liquide has opened its €50 million (US$56.1 million) Tokyo Innovation Campus, where work will include development of solutions to improve energy efficiency, reduce carbon footprint and develop new energies, such as hydrogen and biomethane. Collaborations with customers, universities and start-ups is anticipated at the 8000 m2 campus, which will be equipped with eight laboratories and six pilot platforms, employing 200 people. The launch of the new site means Air Liquide now has five renewed Innovation Campuses in Europe, the United States and Asia.
