Canadian company SpectrumH2 has executed a letter of intent to examine the feasibility of a large-scale carbon-capture and storage project in the state of Alberta. The move is a step in the process of becoming a government-recognised CO2 Hub Operator in the region; the company is in talks with industrial emitters of CO2 regarding providing transport and storage services. SpectrumH2 also intends to work with an intermediate natural gas producer on a blue hydrogen project.
