‘Viscosity – Fluid viscosity represents the resistance offered by a real fluid to its continuous deformation when subjected to a shear stress. Viscosity can be quoted in terms of the ‘dynamic’ (absolute) viscosity or ‘kinematic’ viscosity. The unit of dynamic viscosity in the SI system is the Pascal-second (Pa.s), and the SI units for kinematic viscosity is m^2.s^ -1 (conversion multiplier from cSt to SI units = 10^-6)
