A special Early Bird Discount of 10% will be applied to registrations for TOTeM 42 “Industrial heating: Furnaces, Process Heaters, Kilns – Design of safe, fuel and environmentally efficient thermal equipment”   received before close of business on Friday 9 May. 

A final programme is published today for the meeting which takes place in IJmuiden, IFRF’s historic home, on the premises of Tata Steel on 24 and 25 June 2014.

New additions to the line up of speakers announced in MNM of 7 April include Wolfgang Adler of BFI Dusseldorf whose topic is “Advances in process heating in the steel industry”, Jean-Pierre Crutzen of Drever International on “Innovative heat treatment of steel”, and Paul Malkomes of CMI Thermline with “Latest developments in the field of reheating and heat treatment furnaces”.  Kurt Kraus of Honeywell will deliver a keynote presentation entitled “A review of burner and heater design, maintenance and operational considerations for satisfactory and optimized combustion in retrofit and new heater applications”.

The event kicks off with a site visit to the Tata Steel industrial plant at Velsen Noord.
